Jamie is the General Manager of Public Safety and National Security for Microsoft Worldwide Public Sector and is responsible for driving Microsoft engagement in Defense, Intelligence, Police, Fire, Rescue, and Justice around the world. Jamie joined Microsoft in 2004 following a successful career in the U.S. Navy as a carrier-based F-14 pilot and is based in Redmond, Washington.
Prior to joining the Worldwide Public Sector team, Jamie directed Microsoft’s U.S. Defense Sales Teams in Washington DC for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps where he led the effort to operationalize Microsoft’s approach to Defense and to consolidate business into fewer and more targeted contracts. Jamie is the recipient of Microsoft’s Gold and Platinum Club Awards.
Jamie’s global responsibilities at Microsoft continue the international focus developed during his naval career working in numerous countries and instructing National Security Decision Making at the U.S. Naval War College’s School of International Command and Staff.
Jamie holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Rhode Island and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a Master’s Degree in National Security and Strategic Affairs from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The Citadel.
